This blog is focused on elementary school children. I do not discriminate with any particular genre or age concentration. I like to read a variety of the genres and at many different levels. I want to leave that option open to my students as well.
Using blogger, I will add entries on all books I read. Each entry will contain the following information in APA format:
o
Title,
author, and publication information
o
Short
synopsis
o
Book
notes, including notes on illustrations, language, or other unique features
o
Short
critique
o
Statement
and links of related classroom activities
o
Subject
and genre tags to help you access the books later
o
At
least one of your books in each genre or format must be written or illustrated
by a non-English author/illustrator
Additional information to add to your
entries:

Links
to book trailers
o
Links
to author pages or interviews about the book
o
Project
or craft ideas, links, and pictures
o
Links
to illustrator information (same as for author)

Links
to reviews
o
YouTube
presentations
o
Notes
on reinforced standards as applicable
